Job Description:

Network Services is looking for a
full time energetic, self-motivated
IT Network/Support Engineer
to add to our growing team for the
Buffalo, NY and outlying areas.

Network Services is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who enjoys working with
various clients to overcome technical hurdles and use technology to increase the profitability
of their businesses. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining local and
wide area networks primarily on the Microsoft platform. This position requires excellent
communication, customer service and documentation skills, as much of your time (up to
90%) will be spent dealing with IT Managers or end-users at our clients’ locations.

You will have experience supporting the
following technologies:
• Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server and
Small Business Server
• Windows 7 & 8 & 10
• Microsoft Terminal Server
• Microsoft Exchange Server (most of our
clients run Exchange Server)
• SonicWall and Cisco experience a big plus!
• Network security devices
• Firewalls/Routers/Switches
• Desktop and Server Hardware
• MS Office and Outlook
• Be able to assist with server and network
(LAN/WAN) configurations
• Configure network backup systems
• Create technical reports and
documentation
• Complete other assigned tasks and
responsibilities

• Enjoy working with other Technical Support staff
members to ensure complete and timely resolution
of customer questions and issues, and to complete
any necessary follow-up on resolution
• Can suggest or notify sales staff of opportunities
• Are willing to work occasional nights and weekends

You must have:
• Minimum 5 years’ hands on experience
with the above technologies
• Ability to put the customer first and build great
relationships with customers
• Strong communication skills with personable,
friendly attitude
• Ability to work effectively in an unstructured
environment with limited supervision
• The desire to work in a challenging environment in
which no two days are alike!
• Great technical aptitude
• Must be able to express your ideas in writing:
design documents, documentation, etc.
