Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000

Uniland Hospitality is currently seeking a dedicated and talented individual to partner with our leadership team in a newly created Human Resources Manager role to refine and execute the hospitality division’s human resource and talent strategy. The Hotel Human Resource Manager will help oversee the development, management and administration of human resources activities for the Embassy Suites in downtown Buffalo and the Hampton Inn in Amherst, NY, which will require regular travel to each of the two work-sites.

Responsibilities include such things as:
• Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, benefits, engagement and offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Partner with Corporate HR department team to develop, refine and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures tailored to the hospitality industry that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Provide assistance to the Corporate Payroll Administrator with payroll processing for assigned properties.
• Assist in managing benefits programs to include open enrollment, monitoring employee eligibility for benefit plans, reviewing benefits with employees and facilitating enrollments/changes with both payroll processing and benefit vendor.
• Conduct regular training sessions on HR-related topics, such as diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and safety protocols.
• Manage leave of absence related claims in conjunction with the leave administration vendor to ensure appropriate employee care and manage costs.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR to proactively address challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and professional growth.

To qualify for this position, you will need:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification(s) preferred.
• A minimum of three years of HR management experience preferred, especially in a hospitality environment.
• Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, as well as with HRIS and talent management systems; ADP experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $60,000 - $80,000
