Project Crew Laborer in Clarence, NY

Salary Range: 16.25

Immediate Opening for a Project Crew Laborer: The work involves physical work, performing routine manual work, and willingness to perform a variety of routine and repetitive tasks. Direct supervision is received for Buildings and Grounds Supervisor or higher ranking employees who make work assignments and review work completed. Does related work as required.

Typical Work Activities:
· Cleans and services buildings by sweeping and mopping offices, halls, stairways, etc.;

· Waxes and buffs floors with mechanical equipment; oils, lubricates or greases motors, such as found in engine room, laundry, elevators, etc.

· Cleans lighting fixtures, replaces light bulbs, and washes windows, moves furniture and equipment and washes walls and floors;

· Assists with outside work such as sweeping walks, shoveling snow, cutting lawn, trimming hedges, etc.;

· Loads and unloads trucks; -Cleans and performs maintenance on trucks, tractors, and tools;

· Picks up and disposes of trash; -Complies with various Occupational Safety and Health Administration laws and regulations, including reading and understanding Material Safety Data Sheets relating to hazardous materials and other substances;

· Delivers cleaning and maintenance supplies;

· Fills in for mail courier duties as needed.

-8 hours/day, Monday-Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:30pm
-Starting rate: $16.25/hour (+ $0.55/hour shift differential)
-Paid holiday and vacation time.

-Valid NYS Driver’s License, and basic carpentry and mechanical skills required.
