Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
The primary role of this position is to greet visitors or clients and answer telephone calls, which requires this position to be promptly at work during normal office hours daily.This position also provides administrative support to the company as assigned.
TASKS
• Greet visitors and/ or clients in a calm, courteous and professional demeanor.
• Maintain the Family Choice Visitor Log and make certain visitors are properly identified and provided badges.
• Handle all incoming calls in a professional manner and direct the caller to the appropriate staff member or department.
• Receive and record accurate phone messages and deliver them promptly.
• Manage multiple calls simultaneously.
• Receive and send mail and packages to appropriate recipients.
• Manage the front desk and perform basic support tasks.
• Book meetings as assigned.
• Assist as assigned with letters, correspondences, and envelope stuffing.
• Fax invoices, bills and other documents for processing.
• File documents and/or correspondence in proper location and in a timely manner.
• Scan necessary documents to proper location.
• Provide cross-coverage for other administrative staff.
• Other related administrative duties as assigned including but not limited to, typing and filing as assigned.
EDUCATION: High school diploma
EXPERIENCE: Minimum one (1) year working in a secretarial/administrative support role, preferably in a health care setting.
ABILITIES/SKILLS:
• Requires outstanding people and communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills when answering phones and assisting callers.
• Familiarity with general office procedures including filing and telephone systems and preferably some knowledge of health care terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to perform accurate basic mathematical skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office software; Word and Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to build and maintain collaborative, cooperative, productive relationships with all internal and external customers including members and their families, nursing facility staff, physicians, the health plan and any other stakeholders in the community.
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours
Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
