Test Technician in Tonawanda, NY

Salary Range: $51,860-$64,830 / year

IMA Life is looking for an energetic person with good work ethic to fill the Test Technician position.

PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To provide assistance to Test team as a whole
2. Test units both mechanically and electrically
3. Record, document and maintain test records. Assist in ISO9000 documentation
requirements.
4. Direct rectification of incorrect and failed components
5. Identify software failures and rectify
6. Improve quality for future machines
7. Ensure nameplates and safety warnings, etc. are installed and equipment is correctly dispatched
8. Support Project Manager during customer visits and operational training
9. Ensure all test procedures are completed during production as identified in quality procedures
10. Provide test documents as required for machine manuals
11. Consistently observe and promote SHEQ site requirements for self, department, and all contractors, visitors, and guests.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Associate's Degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or 3-5 years practical experience
2. Experience in electrical, control, software, and refrigeration preferred
3. Ability to liaise with customers and shop personnel
4. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
5. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
1. Overtime as required. Shift work may be required.
2. Travel required.
3. Physical presence is needed onsite

Pay range; $51,860-$64,830 / year
