Accounts Receivable Specialist in Buffalo, NY

KRG is helping one of our long-term clients hire a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist. The AR Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
Processing incoming customer payments (remote check deposit, ACH, wire, credit card)
Authorizing and capturing customer credit card data within a timely manner
Reconciling customer accounts and assisting with payment discrepancies
Sending invoices, credit memos and statements to customer via email/mail
Maintaining sales tax certificate file for appropriate customers and states
Maintaining AR documents in system
Assisting Customer Service group with customers regarding credit card and sales tax info

Job Requirements
Minimum high school diploma
2+ years of accounting experience including basic understanding of credits, debits, and general ledger accounts
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Organized with high attention to detail
