Salary Range: $20/hr
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the day-to-day administration offices and provides Administrative Support to the CEO and Director of HR. They also perform high-level staff work that requires a great degree of tact and integrity.• Perform high level administrative / project assignments, relieving management of many day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth functioning of department
• Prepare and arrange business and management letters, and other communications to include agendas, meeting minutes within Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo.
• Serve as a liaison between CEO and personnel, responding to questions and issues on departmental matters. Creates routine written, electronic and verbal correspondence and communications on behalf of CEO
• File organization, copying, faxing, and other administrative duties as needed
• Able to work in fast pace environment and be a self-starter capable of performing duties independently, and possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Extremely organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Flexible and willing to do what it takes to get the job done
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equalized real work experience
• A minimum of two year’s work experience in an administrative and office role. Preferably in a non-profit agency or Boys & Girls Club; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent computer and MS office knowledge (word, excel, outlook)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Part Time 25 hours a week. $20/hr.
