Auto Mechanic Helper in Hamburg, NY

Salary Range: $17.95-$28.97/hr.

Auto Mechanic Helper: The work involves responsibility for the performance of routine and semi-skilled work in the repair and maintenance of automotive equipment in a suburban school district. This class differs from that of an Automotive Mechanic in that the assigned tasks require a less extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques. The incumbent may assist a more skilled or experienced mechanic in performing more difficult repair work. On routine tasks the employee works with considerable independence but is supervised directly by an Automotive Mechanic or Head Bus Driver on new or difficult tasks. $17.95-$28.97/hr.

Must pass fingerprint clearance from the New York State Education Department/Office of School Review and Accountability and/or New York State Division of Criminal Justice/Federal Bureau of Investigation.
