Join Our Team:

Driver (CDL A): Join our team as a CDL Class A Driver and take pride in delivering excellence on local routes! Your primary mission will be to transport goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.

As a Class A CDL Driver, You Will:
-Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods between specified local destinations.
-Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and securing of cargo, making sure it is correctly positioned and protected during transit.
-Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
-Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
-Assemble small parts as needed.
-Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
-Follow company safety standards, promptly reporting any safety concerns or incidents.

What You Will Bring to Derrick:
-Valid NYS CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
-Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
-Capability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. as a core job function.
-Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
-Strong understanding of state and federal DOT regulations.
-Experience operating both manual and automatic transmission trucks.
-Ability to operate a forklift throughout the shift, as needed.
-Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
-Basic computer skills are an advantage but not required.
-Demonstrate company core values through behavior that aligns with each guiding principle

Hourly Pay Range: $21.00-25.00
