CNC Machine Operator in Tonawanda, NY

Salary Range: $20.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:
• Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications to techniques and methods of operation on CNC machines
• Perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, grinding, sawing, turning
• Perform inspection of parts being made
• Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Work overtime as required to meet production needs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Experience (1 to 2) years in manufacturing industry preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks requiring immediate attention

Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule:
Full time, day shift (6am-2:30pm) Monday to Friday. No nights, no weekends. Overtime as needed
