Collection Associates in Cheektowaga , Telecommute, NY

Salary Range: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour with monthly bonus pay

The Northstar Companies is a debt collection agency with over 50 years of industry experience headquartered in Cheektowaga, NY with additional offices in Olean, NY and Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada.

Essential Functions of the Job:
• Engage in telephone contact with consumers
• Negotiate repayment terms in accordance with client and company specifications
• Complete and accurate account documentation
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies/procedures
• Adherence to work schedule

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Collection experience preferred but not required

Skills:
• Comprehensive and working knowledge of collections is preferred
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong work ethic and commitment to succeed
• Computer basics, math skills and ability to use a calculator required

Pay Range
$16.00 - $25.00 per hour with monthly bonus pay potential

Office Hours:
• Monday through Friday 8am-8pm
• Flexible weekly schedule
