Salary Range: $20-$30/hr

Ivy Lea Construction is looking for an experienced concrete finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with concrete, mixing, pouring concrete, and using concrete finishing tools. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team and will be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time. You will need to be able to follow instructions carefully and pay attention to detail to produce high-quality concrete products. Your ability to meet job specifications and make top-class finishes in concrete work will ensure your success.

Responsibilities:
• Tearing out concrete with jackhammer and bobcat
• Setting flat work forms
• Carpentry skills to set up porch caps and stairs
• Cut joints and run edges
• Float and trowel concrete
• Pour, place and bull float concrete
• Use wire mesh to reinforce the concrete
• Using stains or colors to add the finishing touch
• Stamping of concrete

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential concrete finishing
• 18 years of age or older
• Live in the Buffalo/Niagara area
• Valid NYS driver’s license
• Ability to kneel, bend, lift heavy materials and perform strenuous tasks
