Delivery Driver - PT in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $17-$19/hr

We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our local customers in a company-owned vehicle.
Expected Hours: 20-30 hours weekly
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift; no nights or weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Provide the best customer service; Build a rapport with our recurring customers.
• Resolve clients’ complaints when possible
• Complete and maintain delivery logs, records, and reports
• Review and verify delivery documents to ensure accuracy
• Contact customers to confirm delivery details when necessary
• Determine placement of delivery at customer site; follow safety and lifting protocols during deliveries
• Perform assigned tasks from supervisor(s) as directed

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record with no traffic violations; MVR release form required
• Schedule Flexibility
• Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes
• Smartphone proficient; Routing/planning software experience is a bonus
• Able to lift packages weighing up to 50lbs or more
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Age: 21+
