Director Of Planning And Development in Lockport, NY

Salary Range: Salary Range: $69,900- $89,200/YR

The City Of Lockport Is Currently looking for Director Of Planning And Development.
The work involves responsibility for planning and supervising activities and projects for the City of Lockport Department of Community Development.
The position also involves overseeing and carrying out planning, community development and economic development activities and represents the City in the community and on a variety of planning and development related organizations and boards.
This is a senior level management position and work is performed under the general direction of the City of Lockport Mayor.
Supervision is exercised over the work performed in the Department of Community Development.

(a) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Master’s degree in planning, public administration, economics, architecture, engineering, environmental studies, business or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in planning or economic development, or related field; with at least one (1) year of supervisory/management experience; OR

(b) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Bachelor’s degree in planning, public administration, economics, architecture, engineering, environmental studies, business or related field and four (4) years of experience as defined in (a) with a least one (1) year of supervisory/management experience; OR

(c) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b).

SALARY RANGE: $69,900- $89,200/YR
