Dog Kennel Petcare Associates in East Amherst, NY

Salary Range: 15.50-$18.00/hr.

Cara Mia Pet Resort is hiring talented full time and part time dog kennel petcare associates for the following day and afternoon shifts: 6am-2pm, 6am-10am, 1pm-9pm, 4pm-9pm.

Candidates need to have prior employment in a professional animal setting (kennel, vet, farm, or grooming salon). They must have a passion for working with pets, and exemplary customer service skills. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time and be a team player. This is a fun position but requires multi-tasking, physical work and constant cleaning.

Duties include:
• Maintaining cleaning and sanitation guidelines
• Disinfecting and scrubbing pet surfaces
• Walking and feeding large and small dogs

We are open seven days a week. Applicants need to have weekend and holiday availability.

The position starts at $15.50-$18.00 per hour depending on experience, and rises quickly with exceptional performance.
