Salary Range: $20.00/hr.
• Trains, develops, and manages employee performance.• Keeps Senior Manager, Warehouse appraised of employee issues and/or concerns.
• Performs monthly Donation Trailer audits.
• Ensures appropriate staffing at the Donation Trailers; assists in recruiting and hiring all Donation Trailer attendants.
• Plans to cover any labor shortages at Donation Trailer sites.
• Prepares and distributes weekly Donation Trailer schedules.
• Greets and assists donors at donation trailers and/or Attended Donation Centers.
• Ensures they have a positive donation experience following the GRATIS Model. Offers donors a tax receipt.
• Adheres to Goodwill’s Donated Goods Retail (DGR) and Safety Policies and Procedures during donation collection.
• Logs the donations on the Agency timesheet or equivalent.
• Sorts, stacks, and organizes donations according to Goodwill’s Policies and Procedures.
• Maintains clean and safe drive-thru according to established standards.
• Performs routine maintenance checks on trailers and “offices” in a timely manner and in accordance with Agency Policies and Procedures.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS (The stuff you must have)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Experience leading a team highly preferred.
• Requires reading, writing, and math skills which include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• If hired full time, you would be required to attend a full-day orientation at our Administration Office location in Buffalo.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Reliable vehicle with valid NYS driver’s license and the ability to travel in Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, customers and donors.
• Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure
• Ability to direct a team following the Agency’s objectives to meet production goals.
• Ability to work on a team as well as individually with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments required
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to stand, reach, grasp, twist, and bend on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to fifty (50) pounds with no support regularly.
• Heavy work: exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to fifty (50) pounds of force frequently to move objects.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without an accommodation.
COMPENSATION:
• Goodwill regularly evaluates our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. Starting pay will be based on a candidate’s experience, skills and education.
The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr.
