Salary Range: $42K-$45K

The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation seeks a Donor Services Associate. This person is the first point of contact with those seeking to engage with the Foundation. The ideal candidate welcomes interaction and engagement with stakeholders, whether by phone, email, or in-person; possesses a welcoming demeanor and predisposition for hospitality; and has primary responsibility to process all donations and correspondence using a database common to community foundations; and must be detail-oriented and remain focused despite pivots in work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivates a welcoming and professional office environment by engaging in professional verbal and written communication, greeting and directing visitors, routing incoming correspondence, ordering office and facility supplies, and coordinating vendors
• Prepares reports for Board packets and ensures all materials are emailed to Board members in a timely fashion; responds to inquiries from Board members
• Processes all gifts and prepares acknowledgements and tax receipts in accordance with Foundation policies; identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining accuracy and results
• Maintains accurate profiles in Foundation management software; works with all staff members to ensure consistent data-entry practices
• Seeks increasing levels of proficiency in C-Suites software to serve as an advisor to Foundation team members
• Together with the Brand & Marketing Officer, generates campaigns and lists for mailings, e-newsletters, and the annual report
• Assists Development and Donor Services Officers in routing and finalizing new or amended funds, including assisting with set-up of Fund Advisor Portal and Giving Hub
• Supports events and meetings held at the Foundation office and other locations

Additional Competencies and Requirements:
• At least two (2) years administrative experience
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Associates Degree in business is preferred

(37.5 hours/week; hourly pay rate annualized: $42K-$45K
