Salary Range: Starting pay $18/hr.

Key Position Available:
• Fabricator, 2nd shift (starting pay $18.00*)

(*Off shift adder pay additional $0.75; additional pay increase of $0.75 at 6 months and 1 year service, plus annual merit increase.)

Position Purpose:
Responsible for riveting brake lining onto brake shoes.

Essential Functions:
· Verifies correct parts
· Loads shoe into riveter
· Gauges a riveted shoe
· Verifies part quality
· Other duties as assigned

Education and Training:
High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Qualifications:
· Good communication skills
· Must be able to work independently
· Ability to work well with others

Physical Demands:
· Must be able stand continuously for 8-12 hrs
· Must be able to lift up to 70lbs occasionally depending on customer orders
· Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively
· Use foot pedal
· Ability to work in tight places
· Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills

Environmental Conditions:
· Ear and Eye protection required at all times in production areas
· Exposure to a noisy work environment
· Exposure to hot and humid conditions
· Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
· Exposure to brake pad dust
· Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are required at all times
