Fire & Security Alarm Service Technicians in Buffalo, New York

Salary Range: $17.50-$35.00/hr.

We are hiring Fire & Security Alarm Service Technicians. We will consider both experienced and trainee applicants. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow. The Fire & Security Alarm Service Technician provides on-premises support at both residential and commercial installations.

The Technician will:
• Install and service electronic security and fire systems.
• Test installed system following established protocols.
• Insure system functions properly.
• Instruct customers on use of system. Answer customer questions.
• Prepare documentation for proper monitoring and billing.

The Technician should have:
• Ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Excellent understanding of electronics.
• Compliance with all safety requirements.

The Technician should have:
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid NYS driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Strong communication skills.
• Mechanical hands-on ability/experience working with hand and power tools a plus.

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience.
Work Location: On the road
