Flexo Operators in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $22-$41/hr.

The Flexo Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to the necessary quality standard and efficiencies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

Duties/Responsibilities:
-Set up, operate, and maintain a flexographic Press in a safe, efficient manner meeting all customer requirements (quality, safety, and on-time delivery).
-Perform routine TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) on equipment and necessary cleaning as required.
-Works effectively with Press Helpers and Packagers.
-Troubleshoot press problems and take corrective action to ensure job is completed to customer specifications.
-Accurately report labor sheets, hour by hour tracking, and shift change turnover.
-Train peers and new hires as assigned.
-Complies with company, policies, procedures, and core processes.
-Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:
-Strong mechanical skillset.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to function well in a team environment.

Education and Experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-At least 2-4 years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted from floor to chest.

Openings on all three shifts (1st 7am-3pm, 2nd 3-11pm and 3rd 11pm-7am)

Pay ranges are between $22.00 – 41.00/hour, actual compensation will be based on experience.
