General Laborer/Driver in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $16-$18/hr.

General Laborer/Driver
Family owned union weld shop seeks a General Laborer/Driver with manufacturing background.

Duties to include, but not limited to:
• Facility maintenance & cleaning
• Deliveries with flatbed or pickup truck
• Shipping & Receiving
• Material Handling
• Material Preparation
• Facility/Grounds Maintenance
• Experience with hand tools
• Assist Welders with grinding, cutting & set up
• Some welding/fabrication shop knowledge helpful
• Must have a clean driver's license
• Fork Truck experience needed
• Will be responsible for deliveries and pick-ups to/from customers & vendors with company flatbed & pickup truck

Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT physical & drug test

Must be dependable, work well with others, be able to follow instructions, multi-task and take initiative. Duties will change from day to day depending on the needs in the shop.
Union benefits after 60-day probationary period including, vacation time, sick time, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, boot allowance, paid holiday’s, safety incentive, yearly pay increases and 401K. Hours are M-F, 7:30-4.

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience.
