Maintenance in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $17.52 - $22.55/Hour

Temporary Position (6 Months - Temporary - January through June, 2025)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Refill rock salt containers, spread salt as needed
• Snow shoveling/snowplowing
• Plowing - requires assistance with snow removal as requested - may include mandatory overtime during inclement weather (with compensation)
• Running sidewalk snowblower, keeping walkways clear
• Lawn maintenance/grounds maintenance
• Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License, must have reliable transportation
• Answers maintenance calls throughout the day
• Performs minor maintenance/repairs to building and property
• Repairs building cracks, interior and exterior
• Maintain equipment and tools daily, routinely and seasonally
• Assists with special projects/jobs that become a priority
• Coming in on off-hours when needed (will be compensated)
• Assist with Cafeteria garbage and final day cleaning
• Run errands as needed
• Painting as needed
• Stripping/waxing floors during school breaks
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds janitorial work as needed
• Additional responsibilities as they come up

Pay range dependent upon experience: $17.52-$22.55/hour

High School Graduate or GED. Mandatory overtime during inclement weather conditions (will be compensated).

HOURS: 7am-3pm, 30-minute lunch with two (2) 15-minute breaks (paid by the school)
