Salary Range: $17.00-$19.00/hr.

Join our team, supporting the Erie County Agricultural Society at the Hamburg Fairgrounds.

Maintenance Team:
The Erie County Agricultural Society’s Maintenance Lawn Care Mower/Trimmer team is growing! We are seeking possibly 2 highly motivated individuals to mow and trim the grass on our 300 commercial acres of grounds. With the use of Zero Turn mowers, gas trimmers, push mowers, as well assisting our Landscape crew clean up flower beds, and grass debris.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Mow grass, trim edges
• Operate lawn care equipment like Zero turn Mowers, Push mowers, weed wackers, trimmers, and leaf blowers
• Maintain and check fluid levels of equipment and report any found issues

Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license and transportation
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently mostly alone with minimal supervision
• Commitment to guest and workplace safety at all times
• Ability to work in wet conditions and extreme heat conditions
• Able to lift, carry push up to 50lbs.

Reports to: Lead Landscaper
Hours: Part time, seasonal between hours of: 7:30am-4pm
Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Wage Range:
$17-$19 per hour
