Salary Range: Starting pay $16/hr.

Key Position Available:
•Production Associate - Semac Heat Treat (starting pay $16.00*)
(*Off shift adder pay additional $0.75; additional pay increase of $0.75 at 6 months and 1 year service, plus annual merit increase.)

Position Purpose:
Responsible for heat-treating brake shoes.

Essential Functions:
-Manually loads parts into the fixture and verifies quality of parts
-Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace

Education and Training:
-Keeps work area clean at all times
-Works in a safe manner at all times
-Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:
-Good communication skills
-Must be able to work independently
-Ability to work well with others

Physical Demands:
-Must be able to lift 15lbs repeatedly at shoulder height or above
-Must be able stand continuously for 8 -12 hrs
-Ability to bend, twist and lift repetitively
-Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations

Environmental Conditions:
-Ear and Eye protection required at all times in production areas
-Exposure to noisy work environment
-Exposure to hot steel
-Exposure to fumes
-Exposure to hot and humid conditions
-Exposure to welding arc
-Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
-Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are required at all times
