Property Maintenance Technicians in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $20-$25/hr.

Construction Trades Staffing is seeking several dedicated and skilled Property Maintenance Technicians to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of residential and commercial properties, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
• Inspect the property after a tenant moves out
• Fill in nail holes
• Drywall, painting, replacing door handles or locks if needed
• Collaborate with property managers and other team members to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
• Assist in coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in property maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

$20.00 to $25.00/per hour DOE
