Shipping/Receiving Inventory Associate in Buffalo, NY

Salary Range: $16-$20/hr.

SHIPPING/RECEIVING/INVENTORY ASSOCIATE – Verifies and keeps records on inventory and incoming and outgoing shipments. Receives goods and prepares product for shipment to customers.

Essential Duties:
• Effectively pick and deliver parts to the correct location for use by internal and external customers.
• Counts material and supplies in stock and posts total to inventory records
• Supports the cycle counting program by verifying and correcting system errors in the inventory accuracy process
• Receives, unpacks and routes incoming shipments, rejects and reports defective or damaged items and records shortages.
• Assist in managing outgoing shipment, including preparation of all paperwork, labeling, packaging of product to be shipped and arrange for transportation services.
• Verifies outgoing goods contain proper documentation prior to delivery

Requirements & Education:
• HS or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience in shipping/receiving and inventory
• Knowledge of UPS and FedX software
• Must have a valid NYS drivers license without any restrictions
• Must be proficient using a computer including Microsoft Office

Salary: $16.00 - $20.00
