IMA Life is looking for an energetic person with good work ethic to fill the Warehouse Storekeeper Lead position.

PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES:
1. Receives or prepares for shipments, checks items against packing lists. Makes inventory counts with minimum supervision, assist in highlighting overstocking and shortages which have not been identified using formal control procedures, maintains shipping/receiving records, arranges the building of crates or purchase of crates for shipments.
2. To issue all components associated with manufacturing and sales orders, including those which physically do not move through the Stores. Ability to inspect highly important components against design data inspection sheets. Responsible for Hazardous Material Compliance.
3. To maintain the Stores area as a secure and tidy environment. Shoveling and salting all entrances and exits of the facility during the winter months. Responsible for recycling scrap items from Stores.
4. Set daily priorities within department and oversee and adhere to established procedures and working instructions.
5. Representation of the department at any necessary meetings.
6. Daily responsibility for inspection of fork truck and oil skids, along with Receipt to RP status report for purchasing.
7. Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DSGA).
8. Responsible along with the rest of Tonawanda personnel for effective, courteous and responsive actioning of customer requests.
9. Secure help of appropriate departments to rectify issues which arise during the shipping process.
10. Work within guidelines of ISO 9001 quality system to assure high quality in Stores process and compliance with all procedures and working instructions.
11. Responsible along with all employees for acting at all times in a manner which promotes the health and safety of all personnel in direct and indirect employ, visitors IMA Life and users of IMA LIFE equipment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience in the operating principles and procedures of a shipping operation, including aspects of production, engineering, purchasing, materials control, and establishment relative to the shipping and stores function.
2. Experience in discussions and paperwork connected with carriers. Responsibility for coordinating hazardous material compliance with shipments of spares or Freeze Dryers. Responsible for coordinating shipments of parts to vendors who are doing outsourced work for us and maintaining accurate records for accountability.
3. Associate degree and minimum 3 years’ experience in Stores/shipping environment.
4. Ability to maintain a high degree of physical effort and confidence associated with stacking, lifting, climbing ladders, operation of forklift, and working at elevated heights.
5. Personality traits should include attention to detail, enthusiasm, tact and diplomacy, perseverance, communicating skills, and a sense of humor. Ability to train temporary personnel to company standards.
6. Physical Presence on site needed.

Pay range; $48,000 to $53,000 / year
